Reflex arena engine3/30/2024 ![]() A sequel would not, however, make it easier or harder to build a new hero. Why? SEQUEL!!Ī sequel could easily make guard changes. Anything that would be easier to just rebuild from scratch on a new engine, they ignore. It seems to me like they are only changing things that can easily carry over to a new game engine. Why not take the necessary steps to properly fix the game? It just doesn't make sense to me to keep the game running with new lore and balance updates and still adding new heroes while also pseudo admitting they are so swamped in old code that they can't efficiently update their game. I still feel like a sequel is in the works already. It's almost required at this point to properly balance anything effectively. We need For Honor 2, not for more content or anything, just so they can simplify the coding with current data plugged into a brand new sea of code. It's why we still have match rating in game even though the feature does nothing. More than likely the game's code is too spaghetti for them to make such a drastic change. This probably also means they won't nerf Static guard characters ability to dodge and block at the same time which is bull. The devs already said they won't make guard state changes.
